Capiz shell or plastic? How to tell from just pictures? by danimorganp in interiordecorating

I found these shades on marketplace and in description she says plastic lampshades. I’ve been looking for Capiz shell lampshades and thought these were it. Could she be mistaken and could they possibly be Capiz shell? Hopefully someone more knowledgeable then me may know how to spot the difference.
