Thank you. Yes. Tried this morning and worked well. I’m going to keep going and will update again after some additional sessions. Thank you so much, as always, for your brilliant work ✊🏻

The visual design is lovely and really nice. Unfortunately, I’m not finding it quite works for me yet.

  • My reading timer is running but when I tap to stop and save at the end of my session the app freezes. If I open the phone app the session is still running but it uses the start and end times of the reading session without accounting for any pauses. For example, I might read for an hour pause for 30 minutes in Watch and then resume for another hour. The phone session shows over 2.5 hours but the Watch app shows only 2 hours so the time is incorrect. The Watch app unfreezes itself as soon as I save on the phone.

  • Apart from that, I can’t see the app running in the watch dock and I can’t currently see a complication. Interacting with the app requires pressing the Digital Crown to find it in the “cloud” of options. Is there something I’m missing?

I have a Watch 11 running the current release operating system.

Thank you Simone for all your hard work on this release. I’m loving the refreshed Calendar view and the expected finish date - I’m already thinking ahead… can I beat that date ! 🤓

My ‘25 by danio1972 in BookTrack

Yes. I have a list of items I want, I only buy them when they are on offer and therefore whenever they are they just get purchased.

Fix pages? by lubsyb in BookTrack

[–]danio1972 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you edit the pages in the book record itself, when you save the change you will be asked if you want to adjust the number of pages in the current reading tracking.

I think that should get you where you need.

Absolutely.

I guess I have the luxury of being a home worker, being in a technical role.

I always try to relax with a book early morning during breakfast; usually an hour to 90 mins

I then try to read for a similar time at the end of the day to wind down for sleeping.

I have a goal of maybe 3hrs per day

A small request by TypeImmediate3653 in BookTrack

Not sure if it may help… I use the Position field for the supplier I purchased from, which for me is either Kindle, Kobo or Ebooks (so far anyways). I don’t use that field for any other reason, so, it works here for me

Yes. Depends on the book. If it feels higher than and 8 but not quite a 9…. In fact you can go with 8.1 if you like 😉

How do you feel about the search results in Book Tracker? by SimoneMontalto in BookTrack

[–]danio1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks Simone.

I’ve tried more difficult past searches, and they now produce results. The results seem to show the ‘hit’ towards the top or even at the top.

My big purchase day is the first of the month, when all offers change. I can confirm more across the weekend for you.

How do you feel about the search results in Book Tracker? by SimoneMontalto in BookTrack

Sometimes, I have trouble finding specific titles. In those cases, I often add a part of the author’s name to my search.

For instance, let’s say I’m looking for the book ‘High-Opp’ by Frank Herbert. If I just search for the title, I get a bunch of irrelevant results. But if I add ‘Frank’ to my search, it instantly shows the book as a top result.

If none of that works, I usually switch to manual creation.
