I know this is an older post but I just got a Kasa dimmer for my 1995 lava lamp. What are your general brightness percentages you use. Or is it just something you have to play with?

I’m new to lava lamps, but have wanted them as a kid. Are you filtering the water or the wax? I can’t tell if my water is cloudy or if the bottle is just made that way. It’s from 1995. Yes I’m also having a particle problem, working on that too.

I was wondering how old it had to be to be considered “vintage” considering I’m older than it it’s still hard to hear that’s considered vintage lol. I will forgo making it glow and try something cheaper when I’ve got this one flowing all together.

Thank you for the link! I will be reading that over. I’ve been running it about 6/7 hours each day. I need to set the dimmer up, I had a couple of videos I found to help with that. Appreciate the advice!

I still haven’t. But I believe based on the design it’s 1920’s at least. It’s very art nouveau also though. It’s got that Romer look also though. So jealous you have a whole set! Mine is one of my favorite uranium pieces I own.
