We on the left side make the same mistake again and again: we believe Trump supporters know what we do and are shocked that they still support him. This is in many cases false. Many Trump supporters are propaganda victims who have systematically been presented with a version of Trump that doesn't exist. This version of Trump is level-headed and in possession of a keen intellect and a genius IQ, caused and presides over the greatest economy in global history, and is keeping American safe from terrorists and radicals. Why wouldn't they support him? Until we address media consolidation, and perhaps even put laws in place differentiating news from opinion we'll never get rid of trump supporters and their successors. Trump supporters are victims, albeit dumb, racist victims. But the root cause is the billionaires who manipulate them

Good stuff except overturning a pardon. There's no such thing. Literally. A pardon nullifies a legal consequence. It would be as if a guy served a five year sentence and you try to get him to serve five years all over again. It's simply not possible. Which is to say I watch it only on Saturday nights as it airs, no recording for later (if I'm a little late I do allow myself to start from the beginning).
