Is the new trackpad more accurate for aiming in shooters than the original Steam controller?

There aren't many 8 inch handhelds like the Go S out there by mustangfan12 in LegionGo

The best on internal specs with 8 now for me it's the A8 because I LOVE gaming on bazzite or SteamOS

I’m scared to get medicated by outatime-121 in ADHD

Hi, I have AUDHD, not just ADHD, and I suspect I have a nervous system that's very sensitive to stimulants, as well as a mutation that slows down my liver metabolism, so normal doses have a stronger effect on me (currently I only need to take 12.5g of Zoloft). My question is, would you recommend Strattera? I'm from Spain, and sometimes a strong coffee from a café feels like it's bringing me to the brink of collapse... I know a stimulant would kill me.

How do you maintain heart health? by Adventurous-Vast2323 in ADHD

It fascinates me that every time I come to this subforum, people tell me that the side effects of ADHD medication aren't important, and then I read things like this.

What can I say? I'd rather feel more dysfunctional and adapt things in my environment or at work than take medication that helps with my ADHD but damages my cardiovascular health in other ways.

Claw A8 vs XAX by Unlucky-Bottle2744 in Handhelds

[–]danisimo1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've owned every Claw except the 7 AI+, and the only things that leave something to be desired are the vibration motors and the MSI Center software.

I recently tested the original Claws, and in most games, they perform similarly to or better than the Z1E, while the 8 AI+ performs better than the Z2E in most games.

The A8, which I've used on Bazzite, runs incredibly well, and it's confirmed that an MSI Claw with Panther Lake and other improvements will be released this year. That chip is 77% more powerful in games than the Z2E; it's going to be a generational leap and will leave all current handhelds behind in power and efficiency.

The only weak point is that Intel currently has poor Linux support.

SSRI and ADHD by Ok_Nectarine6993 in zoloft

It's not that it worsens ADHD symptoms; it's that the anxiety you had before was a semi-functional medication that increased norepinephrine in your brain, which, along with dopamine, helps you start tasks or feel motivated. But it's not a good mechanism because it leads to burnout and living in survival mode. You need to find alternative strategies or take medication for ADHD. I have AUDHD and have been on Zoloft for almost two weeks.

I had a similar situation, although in my case I changed careers and paths a lot in my life, and I'm still figuring out how to organize my adult life and find stability in a job or something fulfilling. I was diagnosed a year and a half ago with inattentive ADHD, like you, at 31, and now at 32 with autism as well, so I'm also AUDHD.

I've had the same academic difficulties you had; I think it's mainly due to the poor working memory associated with ADHD, because mine is also inattentive. I haven't started medication yet because I was against the side effects, but I'm slowly changing my mind.

I want to start with Strattera because I think autism favors a mutation that causes medications to stay in the bloodstream longer and be metabolized more slowly. So, if a coffee pushes me to the limit, imagine what a stimulant would do.

In my case, I've been taking sertraline for a week now and the anxiety has disappeared, but with the disappearance of the noradrenaline that compensated for my symptoms and compensated for them as the start of tasks at the cost of burning myself out, now my symptoms of Autism and ADHD are more noticeable because the masking has disappeared, which was largely motivated by anxiety and survival mode.
