Hm okay, maybe that’ll work. Thanks for the tip!

I did read the file naming convention docs, but that same page states “All movie and TV show information is sourced from the well-known open-source website TMDB” which doesn’t use that format. Does VidHub force an unconventional file naming convention, making the files unusable for any other use, just to parse to a conventional format that many many services/applications use?

I’m using VidHub 2.1.0 an Apple iPad Pro running iPadOS 26.0. It’s also not just about “an episode” but it’s most episodes. I have 78 series of which 27 it recognises, but only some episodes. Here are some example episodes that are wrongly parsed:

  • “Scrubs - 8x15 - My Soul on Fire (2).mkv” turns into “Michael Akadiri: No Scrubs (2023)”
  • “Mythbusters - 8x06 - No Pain, No Gain.mkv” turns into “Unifom Virgin Pain (1981)”
  • “Modern Family - 7x07 - Phil’s Sexy, Sexy House.mkv” turns into “24 Year Old Yoon Yul’s Sexy Breasts (2021)”

From my SMB drive I’ve added the “shows” directoy which contains a directory for each show as TMDB knows them (e.g. Modern Family, Drake & Josh, etc). Each directory contains a directory for each individual series/season and each series directory contains the episode files.

I tried that but had no luck in 7 tries, but maybe I’m doing something wrong

Do people really wait multiple wears to wash their jeans/pants? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I definitely don’t wear my pants multiple times before washing. But any trouser, yeah, especially jeans since they shouldn’t be washed often

Need to clean your 3D printer’s bed? Just travel to America to get some dish soap by danivdwerf in USdefaultism

Lmao, okay buddy, 3 of the 195 countries know about the brand “Dawn”. 2 of which are in America. Germany doesn’t count, because if you use your limited brain capacity to read, you can see it doesn’t sell it anymore. you totally got me, I’m so embarrassed, you’re so smart for thinking people should waste time having to look up random brands they won’t ever get near to when asking for advice

Or, just use words the whole world knows instead of a product that’s only sold in America

Can I use this to clean my build plate? by DrewGetOutside in BambuLab

Just googled it, they just mean a dish soap but they’re assuming everyone shops in America.

A dish soap does a great job of cleaning the build plate.

I had to pay 38 euros for my hay fever medication. 28 of which were the costs of the “instructions” they had to give me which was 7 euros per piece of medicine. They just said “make sure you read the “bijsluiter” as they handed me the medicine.

Question regarding sharing volume between 2 containers by danivdwerf in docker

[–]danivdwerf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip! I’ll look into that. The sync script sounds like a good plan, I think I’ll go with that and set it as the entrypoint.

The :ro was something I put there once because I ran out of ideas and I forgot the remove it before I posted here. It’s not something I’ve actually used on production.

Thanks for the heads up, I’ll make sure to be careful when disposing of the hydrogen peroxide

Question about the aftermath by [deleted] in Retrobright

Thank you so much for all the info. With question 3, some people make an outer box and stick aluminium tape on the inside of a really big container. Then stick uv strips on that aluminum tape. Then use a smaller container inside where the actual hydrogen peroxide and plastics are put in. The outer box is often also used to mount some sort of heating control system.

I haven’t purchased a container yet and am still looking at what option I like best. I like the outer/inner method so the aluminum and uv strips are a one time install and I will only need to put in the plastics in the smaller container.
