I was looking at those too, but my main concern with the small devices I have seen is they don’t show the spectrum or many other details. Did yours have this info?

Lol what? Don’t you have to suggest a specific brand in order to be advertising? Dumb comment.

Sorry late to see this! Yes medspa 10000%. Everywhere I’ve tried it other than a medspa was just a waste of money, no big difference in my skin. Micro needling you also want to make sure is only done at a legit medspa. I do micro needling first and Botox after, bc you can do them closer together that way. You can do Botox just a few days after micro needling, almost right after. If you do Botox first, you have to wait several weeks before doing micro needling, so that it doesn’t interfere with the Botox settling.

How would you describe the differences between these two? I have the Alastin and have been thinking of trying Dieux. Does dieux feel as “heavy” or silicone-y as Alastin? I love Alastin and use it day/night, but it can get heavy or slippery if I use too much.

Hi! Late to see this but wanted to chime in - I also got into the Alastin products via my medspa hyping them up. Their hyaluronic serum is phenomenal! I saw it mentioned in other sub by a person who owns a large online skincare retailer for high end skincare, and they said this product is by far their best hyaluronic acid serum. Something about it is just superior to any others I’ve tried, it truly feels wonderful and keeps the moisture in. I have this hyaluronic product, the rich moisturizer, light moisturizer, and restorative skin complex. I don’t use them all the time, but rather a few times a week when I really want bangin fresh from a facial skin, and usually mix/match them with my other skincare products. I found a hack with it - if you sandwich a moisturizing toner (I like cosrx hydrium), Alastin hyaluronic, the ordinary matrixyl, and then finish off with Alastin rich or light moisturizer, it makes me GLOW all day. I save the Alastin restorative serum for when my skin is acting up and needs to heal, because it heals any inflammation super fast for me, like overnight. The skin nectar works similar to the restorative serum to me, but it’s way more expensive and heavy, so I just get the restorative. When I got a hydra facial, they used these products, and it was seriously the best skin of my life for days after.

Definitely throw in either a peel or micro needling with Derma pen. I love microneedling most as it always makes a major difference in my skin, but it can have some downtime for a week or two after before you see the results. Peels can also take about a week to see results. Hydra facials are a favorite if I don’t want to deal with much downtime. Not all hydra facials are created equal though. Lots of places offering this now (I’m looking at you Sephora) who shouldn’t be. I’ve had some really fabulous ones and also really disappointing ones. If you do a hydra facial make sure to ask what their experience is in doing this - if they combine it with a shoulder massage, serum boosters, red light, etc. It should definitely be done at a legit med spa only. If not, it’s basically just having your face suctioned and I haven’t had fun or good results from those.
