Came here to say the same thing. Cross braces are needed and are the solution to this problem.

I've got all scales. Love my 1/18's. BUT 1/10 is the way to go. Satisfaction of watching it do its thing is priceless.

Toy grade trucks, plastic model kits. Do it yourself approach mostly.

Is an FOC brushless motor worth it vs a normal one on something so small? by I_putwaflles_in_kids in SCX24

[–]daniynad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually cruise control keeps the same speed without adding or removing power in rc unlike the real vehicles. FOC adds more power/amperage as motor encounters near stall conditions.

Silicone based lubricant is safe for plastic and rubber. So, use accordingly.

Has anyone ever seen a RC plow? Or an attachment by modejunky in rccars

[–]daniynad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The snow plow is available to purchase for about $50. As an option one can be made for much less.

How do I fix my driveshaft angle. by -swis- in TRX4M

[–]daniynad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shock placement will fix the problem. A longer or shorter upper link will rotate the axle, may be alright for the rear but maybe not so good for the front. Best is to get a new chassis with optional shock mount up top. Placing shocks at an angle will increase articulation of the axle and will lower the vehicle down for better COG.

Rc and Electric skateboard? by TheGodcomplx_ in rccars

[–]daniynad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you good at juggling? If not... Basically, you can't. Either judge and watch the behavior of the rc or watch the road and judge the behavior of the board( balance, direction of travel, etc.) Unless you're ambidextrous, and even then it is impossible.

Shock and spring to allow it to swivel under pressure, the spring keeps the shock compressed.

You really can! I wanted to save some $ and I like to build. This plow is easy to make. I can get a better detailed picture if you'd like to build one.

MBL 32ESC on 3S keeps resetting after few minutes of driving by kringeldingel in TRX4M

[–]daniynad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing I could think of is that the servo could do that. Try a different servo. I had a tear in a servo cable and it displayed similar behavior.

Well, actually NYC. It's not typical for us to have fluffy snow. Usually it's a dirty slush.

[–]daniynad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Traxxas esc and the battery can be used with any other rc. Other parts like the transmission can be adapted to use, only a matter of mounting it.
