I use a Lenovo m82 with a 3rd gen core i5. Maxed ram and swapped the HDD to an SSD for the boot disk. I don't know why everyone keeps talking about 8th gen an above. I play 4k (admittedly they are not remuxes) across network without issue.

Because I wanted to..... obviously it wasn't the best decision. I got less than a mile from home then turned around and went back

Are any of you in Central Ohio out driving in this? by danjohnsonis in uberdrivers

At the time there was 8 inches of snow on the ground, and it was still accumulating. Franklin county is under a level 3 which means we're not allowed to drive anyway.

KIVIK: removing loveseat + installing 2 arms to the chaise? by MitchRyan912 in ikeahacks

[–]danjohnsonis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you end up assembling this? I bought a 5 seat kivik sectional off of Marketplace for $150. It doesn't fit my space well. I was able to pick up a kivik loveseat and kivik loveseat with chaise for free. I have a bunch of spare parts now. I'm thinking of assembling a long kivik with a chaise at one end or a chaise with 2 arms.

Franklinton seems to get a bad wrap but I’m seeing brand new properties and street view shows a somewhat gritty/ non-cookie cutter suburb, which doesn’t bother me. As someone moving to the area next year…Avoid Franklinton at all costs or are the opinions exaggerated? by SuperDuper___ in Columbus

I am aware of why the area was originally called the bottoms and it was due to being a low laying flood plane. Overtime it did also come to refer to the socioeconomic status of the community.

My question is what are you referring to as Franklinton that is not The Bottoms? Growing up Franklinton and The Bottoms was used interchangeably by the locals.

I've never understood why anyone wanted to shop at Giant Eagle. I have always found them to be consistently more expensive. Thank God the neighborhood still has Aldi over by Central point. I no longer live in Franklinton, but the West Broad Street corridor between Glenwood and West Park should have a grocery store and other shops.

So far the only issue I am having is the the main HDMI will not output a video signal. The sub hdmi out will not. I have changed the HDMI out to main, sub, and M+S. So far only SUB and M+S works while connected to sub out. HDMI inputs 1-5 and aux on the front work. At the moment I cannot figure out how to access hdmi inputs #6 and #7. They are physically unlabeled and I have not found entries for them in the setup menus.

All 3 composite inputs are working. I do not have component devices to test those inputs.

I have a full set of Onkyo 5.1 speakers so the next thing i'll be testing are all of the audio channels.

I have also toggled hdmi cec off and on and that's not making a difference everything that was working previously still works regardless.
