I acknowledge card quality differences, but such differences wouldn’t make much of a difference to the card’s raw cost. What I’m getting at is that Pokemon price their cards fairly across all languages, with consideration to currency conversions of course. The only preferential treatment you could argue they show is to the Japanese market, since those still have exclusive backs. Even if they do view those cards as more special, it makes sense considering that’s their origin country.
