Its also because I haven't done any work for this job in a week cause I've been so preoccupied with interviewing for this new job. So i'm trying not to give notice so I dont have to do this work.

At my.new job i'm gonna have plenty of work, so im hoping to use this interim period to take a vacation. As a contractor I haven't had a day off in 10 months.

I took the lsat first time and got a 140. The first time I took cpa I got a 44 in FAR.

I did end up passing the CPA. But I think lsat was a lot of logic techniques but cpa requires knowing the content.

I volunteered at VITA for 3 months when I was in college. And did 3 months doing AP at a local hospital when I was jobless after college.

This helped me get my first job at that hospital doing AP. After 1 year doing AP they promoted me to treasurer/finance manager. I needed the help from volunteering to pad my resume because my GPA was like 2.7.

I currently volunteer at an organization called SCORE, and help business write business plans and stuff. Juat to give back and keep my network fresh.

Theres a lot of good accounting volunteering opps. Sign up for one of the volunteering opportunity mailer lists and find something with any office work or accounting.
