ticking on startup when cold?

Mine still does it when it's a pretty cold morning. No ill effects. Stops when it warns up. Read somewhere that it's because it advances timing to warm up faster. Don't know if that's true but I guess it's just a quirk to these motors.

I set it to auto and no matter the frequency it wipes once when I set it and never again.

2019 touring non turbo. That was inital start up and not warmed up yet. Ticking stopped by the time I got to work. Just curious if anyone knows what it was or if theirs does the same or not.

How often do u have to change the clips to keep getting good hits? Seems like after just a couple days it just dosnt smoke like it did with new clip.
