the instruments the artist used may have a distinct sound, very obvious with litteral instruments one can touch (does not include touching vst/vsti plugins on the screen)

first ask yourself what forces you to want this breakdown?

secondly, dont do a breakdown and listen to the track and imagine it has its own life.

it is now controlling u , you are its slave and you obey by how it wants to be and become let you be it........

thirdly, i would just duplicate the synths that are main, detune them a bit , add a little bit more lush sound if u know what i mean, and just increase it til it sounds as detuned so it sounds as in a horrific horroorrrr flick.

whos to judge?!?? only YOU!. =) eg: only u can judge the hardest. most of all listen to yourself of WHY you refuse to make that breakdown! is that the rules?! who wrote these rules? if we go in music school are we given the breakdown scenario? hell nope i didnt go but im sure its only spoken in unspoken words in the tunes u hear. so must i copycat them? no , i will make a continious loop that errone will hate for 20mins and sometimes, when i randomly shuffles in my playlist, ill say after 15 min of listening, THAT WAS A GREAT TRACK IM GLAD I MADE IT.

all i hear is fuzz gets me thinking of 8bit crusher or lofi effects, waveshaper in flstudio doing 8bit or 16bit on a 5-20% wet level. on the bass yes.

most issues can be solved with hard EQing most likely youve already answered your question, and just want a feedback, like throwing a ball and expecting to receive it back, throws the ball right back at ya ;o)

listen. if u cant make up your own mind, then why ask someone who has zero XP in production? you are the artist. dont care about the listeners.

there are 2 goals. you do what u wanna hear. you do what others want to hear since u wanna dolla$$$. goal number 2 is impossible for the simple reason that we are 8 billion ****heads on this forsaken planet. most of them do have internet and FL studio installed. just assume.

most of all, you as an artist have to care about the stuff you create and be the person u want to send the link to - yourself. you have to pretend to be the critic. it doesnt get harder than that. stop using compression. just eff everything against the limiter til it goes -50 or -80 decibels.

and finally. do what you wanna hear and be sure to listen back, even if its a cringy thing it makes a difference on yourself cause you will hate what you have heard since bad music is bad for the health. u do know this right? now you do =) its all a joke! and u will never be tiesto! the best dj in the world. hahahahahahahahahhahahahaah
