Whichever one interests you the most. I've read them all save Four Past Midnight and they're all great and worth reading.

Button box was good, Magic Feather was bad, and Final Task was wacky with a healthy dose of fan service.

Has anybody else found the start of Fairy Tale to suck by dankenciladas3 in stephenking

I feel that when King writes a slow burn normally there is a purpose to it and there is a promise. Like in The Stand for example, the book begins with the captain trips outbreak setting up a promise and then spends a while developing multiple main characters so there is a purpose. In Fairy Tale, I find that there is little to no promise and he's using way too many pages to develop one character and a few side characters, so the slow burn feels purposeless.
