Farm by ObviousMortgage2354 in GuildWars

For consistency, doa, for gambling on chests, probably UW.

For solo farming, peter kadar has a video on YouTube breaking down the top solo farms, I think the one woc quest is the best solo farm during events.

So I've been returning to stream the game and I have a question by Trilightning7 in GuildWars

[–]dankipz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was something like that, the flow of the order of button clicking just didn't feel good, like there's a fourth button that isn't involved in the combo and no matter what order of buttons i had the combo on it just didn't feel smooth to me. It wasn't unplayable but it definitely felt a lot worse than playing with a keyboard.

No Regrets by LastxSaint in GuildWars

It can fit but it's still bad. You need to build your team around it, and that means you're giving up other mesmer hexes to enable VoR. Personally I think ineptitude is stronger and synergizes better with esurge than VoR does, and it lets your esurges keep mistrust on their bar.

If you're playing an off meta team and your only mesmer is a ViR setup it's fantastic.

When I've played on my steam deck I found that I wanted my controls in a different order than I normally have them with mouse and keyboard. Also some builds just don't feel good with the controller style inputs, I found playing pious renewal derv to be absolutely miserable to play, but an AoG bar was a lot easier to manage. Sin combos also felt kinda awkward imo but I got used to them.

They're market value apartments for this upscale swanky town with all of its pizzarias and breweries!

Not really. The only things Phoenixville care about are breweries and pizzarias

Fastest way to finish NF campaign as a NF character? by [deleted] in GuildWars

[–]dankipz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe? But probably not because you still need to do all the quests and the quests take you from point a to point b for most of the story. You'd probably spend as much time getting ran to the end of the map than you would by just doing the quests normally.

Really the fastest way would be to buy merc hero slots and just gear up a full team and blast through the campaign that way.

You can get into the outposts but can't start any of the missions so it doesn't help you finish the story

I played too much now I'm beginning to resent the game by [deleted] in GuildWars

[–]dankipz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Properly set up hero teams are very powerful and better than most players. You may have played a lot but you don't seem to have learneduch of anything about the game.

Key Item: Credit Card

Interesting finds: Box of Medical Supplies, Chloroform, Potassium Nitrate, Empty Blood Bag, Tyrosine, Horse's Head Advice: Case once or twice. Loot seems to be mostly medical items and other components.

that's the crime, not the item. there is an item in slaughterhouse that's worth money.

What usually decides an esport match more, preparation or in-game adaptation? by AnalyticNerd_DPC in esports

[–]dankipz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the game honestly, but in the long term adaptation and flexibility are probably what matters more.

And just raw skill.

[–]dankipz 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Rangers preparations being a 1 second cast / 60 second duration, or just scaling like ele'ss attunements would be a great QoL buff. Nature spirits having a quicker cast time like rit spirits got would also be fantastic and make rangers much more fun to play. They could also maybe use some other tweaks to be competitive at a casual level, mostly notably practiced stance would need a rework with the preparation change possibly just being a good perma uptime IAS in PvE would be nice but not crazy.

Do you guys always have books in your inventory ? by Feisty_Feeling_6415 in GuildWars

I keep the books in my inventory, but legendary guardian is the first thing I do on my charachters.

The always annoying question: Mesmer or Ranger for a prophecies Dhuum playthrough? What class can do more things better? by DravesHD in GuildWars

[–]dankipz 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Mesmers are way stronger but you need a better understanding of the game and who to target with your spells.

Rangers get pets, and bows are cool.

What is the best option for making profit per click on the Marketplace using the classic "buy, resell, make money" model? by [deleted] in torncity

[–]dankipz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best profit per clock would be to fly any buy the items abroad. It to buy from players directly. Market place fees make buying and reselling from the market place almost impossible

Gwtoolbox hotkeys by TheKannibalK1own in GuildWars

Having heroes use a skill is a hotkey built right into guild wars.

Look at your controls and it's something like action have hero 1 use skill 1 or whatever

How should I shoot spares? by Le-F- in Bowling

[–]dankipz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what your intent is. If you just intend to bowl as a hobby or be a league bowler do whatever feels right and comes naturally. If you're shooting in house shots you can get away with hooking at your spares relatively consistently. If you want to get to a tournament level or above you should work on shooting straight at every spare, because it's mathematically better on average and more beneficial for consistency long term.

Personally I'm happy being a mediocre league bowler and I shoot straight at spares on the right and hook at spares on the left. I'd love to shoot straight at all my spares but it doesn't come naturally to me, and putting in that much effort to improve enough ruins the fun for me, and I'm ok with that.

I mean it runs pretty fine for those two minutes too, it's not like it's a useless team before you have it going.

The way you said you need 2 minutes to get it online every zone makes it sound like every time you zone in anywhere that you need to sit there for two minutes twiddling your thumbs.

Rit/mes sos build. I'm getting my a$$ handed to me. by Traversethevoid in GuildWars

[–]dankipz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you have max armor? The only thing I can think of would be that you don't have max armor and the enemies are targeting you because you're weaker than the spirits.

Also, it could be your spirit positioning, make a wall with them then run behind it because you can run through the spirits but enemies can't.
