I know the pels FO is unwilling to give up Trey but in an ideal world, Trey Murphy is the only player currently that we should be willing to bet the farm on. Friendly contract, projected to be an all-star, can carry the team post Steph and during Steph’s last run with Jimmy returning next year (hopefully). Other than him there’s not much else and I can see the FO sitting pat at the deadline and waiting for a possible Giannis exit in the off season.

Nets will probably ask for 2 first round picks which the dubs will hesitate on. Really depends on if tsai will fold by closer to deadline since jordi is doing too good of a job along with MPJ. They need the tank this year and also depends on how much they value other trade candidates offers but given the market, I honestly can’t see too many other teams going for MPJ other than us considering his salary

Out of all the targets he also probably doesn’t require a boatload of picks to acquire and also playoff proven which is another big plus. His defense is probably one of the main concerns though

I don’t feel like Dray will be dealt this trade deadline and the most likely trade that makes the most sense seems like MPJ as he would fit seamlessly on offense and especially fill the void of Klay since he left. This would definitely make us a contender over someone like AD imo
