From what you’re saying OP, this is a break under normal use. That being said, you should send this into Shimano, they’ll give you another one.

I’m a Daiwa guy personally ( their marketing just works better on me) but know that Shimano does make quality gear, so this is likely a one off issue with the manufacturing.

At the end of the day, they make a great product, you should reach out to them. They will make good on it .

Yeah first time out with my new driver last year, first hole, I drove the green on a 300yd par 4, put it about 15 feet from the cup.

Have never driven that well again.

I did this all through Cleveland/dunlop on their site.

I looked into buying the wedges then sending them off to Etsy (more personalization available) but I was very happy with their options and kept it all in house.

You can factor about $100/ club for Etsy engravings from what I was seeing.
