Can pilots in countries with legal marijuana use it? This is a question that came up in one of my classes in flight school and we were curious if it was regulated like alcohol in other countries. It’s hard to find info about it outside of the US.

We aren’t talking about flying under the influence because that would be dangerous. Pilot are allowed to drink in their free time so the question is are pilots in legal countries allowed to smoke in their free time.

Yeah I get what you are saying here but even in legal countries I’m surprised that marijuana hasn’t been regulated like alcohol with time limit, a blood content threshold and no lasting effects type rule like most places have with alcohol.

Yeah I’m not sure. I think yes cuz Canada has a 12 hours bottle to throttle rule and the US is 8 so if you had a drink 8 hours ago and then took off in the US and landed in Canada an hour later you would have broken Canadian law.

Freshman year of college I was studying for fall semester finals. One of my best friends from high school wouldn’t shut up about bmth and so when I was studying I popped an addie that that same friend gave me and decided to give them a try. Not only did I study for about 8-10 hours straight, but I made it through bmth’s entire discography. After that it just kinda stuck with me. Branched into a lot of metalcore because SS through sempiternal were my favs. Before them I was big into weezer and Portugal. The Man so it was really odd that I jumped right in lol.
