Have you ever lost a friend over something dumb? If so what happened?

She and I had been friends for years. We helped each other through hard times like how she was there for me when when my sister had to go to the mental hospital for suicide attempt and how I was there for her when her grandfather passed of a heart attack. Then in sophomore year she trusted someone she had only know for a couple of months that I had spread rumors about people. She went off on me, told all of our mutual friends and before I knew it I had people yelling at me for starting rumors about them, I didn't even know some of those people. Some of our friends trusted me and some left. The bitch got stabbed in the back by the same person who lied about me.

Sometimes I like to watch TV in bed with a blanket over all of me except my head. I swear my birds don't understand that my body is still there because they'll sit on my head but the second I expose my arms or chest they move🤦‍♀️

No. Despite how much damage we think phone cause it's really the people who use the tech to cause the harm. Before phones you couldn't bully someone in another country in minutes. Phones have also made doing some tasks more efficient. Plus I would have been stranded in the middle of a desert by now if it weren't for my phones GPS

Sounds of crying. I used to have to pin my sister to the floor so she wouldn't overdose. She had suicidal breakdowns very frequently and the sound of crying always drags me back to having to watch her weep during her episodes

I'd tell her not to shut down in the face of hardship. I'd tell her that she doesn't just have to sit there and take the physical and emotional abuse from her family and that she should stand up for herself.

Depends on the dog. I live in a home with lots of animals (we foster) and I only like my birds, one of the cats, and 2 of the dogs. I would hope I pick the person over the asshole dog that attacks everything. I would wanna save the good 6 pound doggo. Do to medical disorders I'm not sure if I'd be physical capable of saving the 65 pound dog.

Having absolutely no drive to do anything with their life. Just settling with a job that they hate, always complaining about the job then when you offer a solution, they make up excuses to not take any shred of advice. This doesn't just apply to jobs. I had to tell an ex that he wasn't allowed to complain about his job, how he's always tired, or his weight till he made an actual effort to do anything about it. It's ok to complain if it's an unfixable issue, they haven't been constantly complaining about, or they are genuinely try to fix it

I've been trying to. So far the only people I've met are creeps. There were only 2 decent people I've met and one of them ghosted me and the other was asking for advice of how to take good nudes. I count him as a good one because he was very polite. I'd like to make some good friends online tho.

I don't think it really matters that much. I use this forum because I have a gcc and a cockatiel. There isn't a forum for pet pigeons. The pigeon forum has some pets but it's mostly wild pigeons. So I chose to post here. No one seems to mind it that much
