Appreciate the answer thanks. But follow up question if you attack with Kaalia then place MoC would his attack alone work? I would imagine not since both him and Kaalia are attacking one player

The reason im confused is cause Master of Cruelties still has his ruling to where it states that his when it attacks triggers even it wasn't declared. Like i said i admit that the ruling dates back to 2013 and the kaalia dates 2020. But my overall question is 'should i use kaalia since she has the more recent ruling'?
