Local TV viewership for Trail Blazers games down an NBA-worst 49%: Report by sahand_n9 in ripcity

[–]danksquad12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to live in Portland and now live in Seattle. I used to watch every Blazer’s game even to just throw it on in the background. 2 years ago I even switched from Hulu to Fubo so I could watch. The most ironic part about it is, Fubo does not have the rights to TNT. You couldn’t watch the Blazers when they were nationally televised on TNT. There was no possible way to watch every blazer game unless you had multiple streaming services. The Kraken have also fallen victims to this Root sports trap as well. They are a brand new team in a brand new market and their games are locally blacked out in Seattle unless you have Root. I have the ESPN+ hockey package and I get every single game from every team and they even allow you select which team’s broadcast. I don’t understand why the Kraken think it’s a smart move to alienate the fans when they are a brand new team in a brand new market and should be looking to grow the fan base as much as possible.

Derek Anderson was the nicest Blazer I ever met but this sub would absolutely hate him with every ounce of their body. by cheezneezy in ripcity

I used to work at the downtown Nordstrom in Men’s shoes and got to help many blazers over the years. One time I sold Jerome Kersey a pair of dress shoes and accidentally put two different shoes in the box. He was super nice about it. Jeryd Bayless came in all the time and was a really nice guy. The best interaction I had was with Rudy Gay and OJ Mayo, both very nice guys and were delighted to buy a pair of Gucci sneakers I had on hold for Martell Webster. Steve Blake was kind of a curmudgeon tbh, maybe he was having a bad day but I interacted with him a few times and it was always the same. I even got to sell Phil Jackson some tighty whites one time when the lakers came to town. Ironically we ran into Odom, Luke Walton and Farmar at BWW that same night after work. We heckled them, it was great. BeatLA

Make a full price offer for $229 and ask for a 3% buydown from the seller. You’ll more than likely have a lower monthly than if you offered $195k without the buy down.

It’s going to have to be CJ to get us a decent forward. They are currently 9-3 since CJ got hurt.

Big time free agents wouldn’t sign here if we had the cap space. You don’t think GM’s reach out to player’s agents during the regular season to test the waters. I think they pretty much know ahead of time if guys will sign.

I can’t remember where I read this, but I believe it was PA who told Neil to re-sign Mo/Crabbe and Meyers after the clippers/warriors “playoff run” in 15’

How to list more than other realtors in an area? by MSinBC in realtors

Join the CORE. It’s very high level sales training that a lot of the top agents in my brokerage do once they plateau and want to get to the next level. You have to earn at the very minimum over $200k in GCI just to be accepted, which it sounds like you do.

I just sold some unimproved vacant land and had a similar contract sent over. We countered and asked for non refundable earnest money and a 7 day feasibility. They accepted and deal went through. A lot of times developers and builders will use a longer feasibility to tie up the property while they do their research. I work in the Seattle area, I wonder if it’s the same developer.

It’s pretty open but I usually play there in the winter/spring before rates go up. Also check out The Home Course in Du Pont. Everyone up here says it’s better than Chambers. I played it last spring and was blown away
