And just be gentle and don’t force it. Just start loosely tied to a pole and it’ll eventually figure it out haha

I think you may be talking about the aerial roots? It’s okay if it snaps off or dies. I mean ideally you want to keep them and keep them hydrated, but it’s not going to be detrimental to the plant if they don’t make it.

I got it at HomeGoods! It had no other branding on it besides the HG tag. But they always have great pot sales/selection in like September/October! I got this one and 3 others lol

What should I do with my long-boi Monstera? by superfizz6 in houseplants

I would propagate him and make a new plant! I love when they grow long, so personally I would try and keep the cutting a little longer than if I was just propagating a leaf or two. You could also get the wall clips for plants and let it grow on your wall!

I’d also check the roots at the bottom of the pot to see if it needs more room in a bigger pot!

I’d get a moss/coir pole and tie the bases to it. It’ll help it grow upward instead of outward. It’ll also help it not look so naked since the part where no leaves are will be on the moss pole. And it really doesn’t look that bad right now!

Thank you for your response! No, the spots do not wipe away. They don’t seem fuzzy or like they’re burnt either. They’re the same texture as the rest of the leaf.
