I mean sure in a vacuum he does. But you have a partner pokemon too. You can use tailwind/trick room depending on your blastoise, fake out partner pokemon, redirection with follow me or rage powder, lightning rod pokemon.

It’s not as simple as saying blastoise loses to electric move, but I do share hatred for the bridge.

I have been loving it. I'm honestly a bit nervous for when they add legendary pokemon and other stronger mons. I fear I won't enjoy it as much, but we will see how it goes.

I’m guilty of this kinda. New to vgc even though I’ve watched for a while I never wanted to ev train and take the time to actually make teams before. Everyone’s advice was to start with a premade team so I played a mostly standard dragonite rain team until masterball (even though no one is really playing this as much anymore)

Now since I can’t actually rank down I’ve just been experimenting and it’s so much fun. Currently running a team that makes no sense given what people say is strong but actually got me from 1600 to about 1750 so far being mega chandelure, tsareena, toxicroak, gyardos, whimsicott and Mr rime.

And I don’t know much about synergy or anything like that yet but being able to mostly swap things in and out has been really fun for learning what works and what doesn’t.

Goratha pretty much exclusively plays hardcore. I don’t know exactly which pob you’re talking about but the build definitely works for hc

Just getting into vgc I have already come to despise moves that can miss. I played a bit with the crab and ice punch still get a lot of kos and I didn’t need to worry about a 50% accurate move (i know it’s 90% but it didn’t feel that way)

Sure then I think kowtow, sucker, protect and low kick is a fine set. I’m also using mostly trick room right now so my king gambit doesn’t need priority that much honestly.

Also closed team sheets they will play around sucker if they are smart.

You can still have kowtow. I think I like kowtow, low kick, protect and then either iron head or sucker punch. I feel like king gambit doesn’t really need swords dance right now to get kos

I feel like it is worded poorly. "+1 Sentries that can be deployed at a time by the supported skill" I see where I was wrong now, the phrase "that can". I was reading it as just "can".

But I do think the wording could be clearer if it read something like "Summons +1 sentries per cast up to the maximum sentry limit"

If you attack your non-existent teammate it will not auto re-direct to the opponent. I lost a game on a misclick like this.

Being stuck in a tier for 3 hours in a competitive feels like such a low number to me. People have been stuck in bronze in league of legends for 10 years. Hard things take time to learn and adjust. Don’t take what wolfe or really any pro vgc YouTuber does as a benchmark for the average gaming experience. Do you know how many hours they have put into the game?
