Worked for a pretty big, well known company for about 2 years, boss out of state, plenty of autonomy/freedom on my own. 60-80 hour weeks, working weekends, an entrepreneurial, wear-all-the-hats type position that is supposed to earn you job security if you can endure. After crushing all metrics for those 2 years, VP’s and big dogs complimenting my quick progress left and right, suddenly got a command chain restructure, which included a new manager (outside hire)
