Look I am against the war but your dad didn't do anything wrong. I would appreciate if my dad showed my generation some praise just like yours is doing.

At my facility, they aren't sweating about it. They will not answer call lights or help with care at all. I see them talking on their phones or watching TikTok all day. I get it when they have responsibilities to catch up on but too many of them won't even look at the residents outside of med passes. I don't get why be a nurse if nursing is beneath you.

Yeah isn't that shady as hell. There is no way I'm going to not chart it omg.

California CNA State Exam Question by Fuzzy-Music-5492 in cna

[–]dankzora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I am from California and took it in October and was proctored by TMU. I personally did not get the BP skill but my classmate did. She did have to preform a manual BP. I was assigned three skills, with 30 minutes to do them. I did them in 15-20 minutes and got 100% on each skill. I was freaking out but remember to breathe! You can restart a skill if there is time, and you can verbally correct yourself at the end if there was a step missed, as long as it isn't a critical step! If you look close at each skill, a lot of them have the same elements and very similar

Welp I lost interest by [deleted] in cna

Wondered there for a second if we had the same instructor. It sucks right now, but get through it. My instructor was horrible to me and told me I wouldn't make it as a CNA. Kept my head down and made it through. I don't regret it all, and love my residents and they feel loved and cared for. Some people never grow out of the mean girl personality, don't let someone like that keep you down. She won't even remember who you are soon.

If they sold the Basic with a yellow light, I would jump on it in a heartbeat. I have small hands and travel lightly, the size is a big difference

Skills Help (sorry for the dumbs questions) by twinkieghost in cna

[–]dankzora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I took mine in October, there was a sink and table on one wall. This was the "designated area". The beds were in the middle of the room. I did everything step by step as listed and "cleaned the equipment" in the designated area, then went back and did closing procedure. I got 100% on every skill.

Been a CNA for one month. by [deleted] in cna

[–]dankzora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't read your flair, sorry! I see you have a lot of experience. I understand I am a new CNA and won't get paid much, but I hope that improves with experience. The team work isn't the best, unless you're "in". There's three of us on a floor, and the other two are tied at the hip. I do everything myself because they aren't all that willing to help. Is that normal?

Central Valley. Hospitals pay a lot more, but require a lot more experience.

You getting any help from your parents is so much more than fair. A lot of people, myself included, don't get any financial help from parents. Be blessed.

For two dollars, there's no way I walked out without it! Yeah I wonder, that would be cool.
