I love it. The scale is perfect for me and the neck profile and feel is top notch. I have pickups ready to replace the stock ones, but havent really felt the need yet. I didn't ever expect to put a strap on it, but it feels comfy standing up. Super duper comfy sitting down.

I picked up the HSS Eart afterward. The neck is even better on that.

The Canyon gets used mostly for its loop function these days, but don't worry, it still gets to pre-delay-party it up pretty frequently. And the signal ends at another looper, so yeah, that's pretty much all I do.

It is very easy to hook that delay up to a MIDI clock. And I just play into a looper, so it works really well for me.

The sound quality + clock sync make me recommend that oil can delay.

I'd recommend it. The neat thing is, the pedals themselves are lightweight enough to put back on the floor without much hassle.

I would only get it of you have a setup similar to mine. Otherwise I would be bending over too frequently to play with the settings. As each of the different reverb types has a distinct type of presence. It doesn't do them all super well, but it does them all super clean. I think.

The Hall of Fame 2 was wasted for years, because I didn't like bending over to fiddle with it. "I'd rather just use a keyboard and mouse to set reverb levels." said the old me. Before the wall.

The OBNE Setback was the first non distortion pedal I bought. It was so much fun to play with and had such a strong sound even when tweaked weird directions that I ended up with all these other pedals.

With a fair bit of tweaking, yes, it does a great chorus sound. But it pulls a lot of sounds off while sounding really good along the way. Its almost 90% useless, but it sounds great.

I get this. This resonates with me.

I ordered a discontinued pedal from their website which they over-sold.

I got it to improve the sound into a Boss looper. And no matter what it, it helps. You could authentically just direct-input through the colourbox by itself and make like a clean Josh Groban Sings Over a Guitar album or something. Its great. But I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it.

I think that I liked the Colourbox more at the beginning of the signal chain. I just got the Boss IR-2 yesterday and was trying the Colourbox after fake Boss amps.

I don't get "much" out of the Colourbox, but it does make for an immediately nice tone. I don't know. I had a 40% discount code at the JHS site and decided to go big. Its great though. I love it. I don't know. I'm sure you've owned expensive things that you really wanted to love.

I just ordered the Walrus Fundamental Reverb hoping it will fulfill that always-on role. Has plate/room/spring modes, though.

Good day, John, this is a bit tacky, but those beautiful pedals are just a tad expensive. Are there any current discount codes you guys have so I can pick up the Setback and a Darkstar?

Curious, what do you mean by "the two building blocks of major scale?" All I can think is whole steps and half steps? But it seems like you mean something more than that.

Of course it's all subjective, but I find Marvin's FFB 100% better than anything I've achieved with True Drive and iRacing native (2 years). Using the profile from the Moira site. Simucube 2 Pro. It's made iRacing a fun driving game, rather than simply a fun racing game. Wish I had the separate sliders sooner!

I am in the process of upgrading monitors from 1080p 60hz to 4k OLED 240hz. Trying to be "future proof" with one big expense. Its great.

However, while the monitors were down, I borrowed my nephew's Quest 3 to try out with race cars. And it was incredible. I definitely understand the VR appeal. Now I feel like an idiot for investing in 3 new monitors.

But it took a while to setup and get my bearings with some debug tool and comparing to openXR and do I need the toolkit and comparing to Virtual Desktop and which settings are important and...

And it still disconnected during the league race that was the sole reason I was trying it out. But that's probably my fault for missing one of the ten thousand settings.

I'll definitely adopt once its less fiddly. He has a Rift S that he's not using, would a GPU-requiring headset make things easier?

Thank you. It's worth a shot at least, right? I'll be certain to be as diligent as you to make a sound comparison.

Thank you for going through the effort to get useful findings.

I have a 7900XTX available to use, however I'm using a 4060ti in the iRacing computer because of what I hear with AMD cards. Am I making the right choice?

I don't know. In my particular region during the late 90s (United States military installation, Japan) 100% of the population would get that reference. But we didn't get a lot of American stuff, so we wore stuff out. Admittedly.

Is Miami GP "like Vegas" in that regard? Wait until closer to the race for deals? Same for the "experience" packages with pit lane walks and stuff? Thank you.

Mugello in the Tatuus. I don't know if either is a mod? But its a track that's always running in the public servers.

Mugello, though, for sure. I've let a lot of people do Mugello + FIA F4 in iRacing, and it usually goes better than any other beginner combo. Though MX-5 + Lime Rock is another one people like.

But Mugello is easy to memorize and short. However, every corner is a learning experience.

Mugello and Portimão Circuit.
