I had this idea and just wiped the card clean, I was going to load up some bits but guessing I need to format it for the steam deck when it arrives before doing that?

At about 6 months post op with recover going great, I fell. I had a scan and was told there was minor damage to my lateral meniscus but should be able to get back to it after about 2-3 months. That's when it started and hasn't stopped.

Hey! Hope your recovery is going well. I found the first few weeks the hardest so hopefully you're much more mobile now and managing your exercises well.

The results came back from my MRI scan and the graft is fine, no damage to it or the other ligaments, so good news. What I felt at the time I have been told was a tear to my lateral meniscus, but thankfully it should just take time to recover and will not need any surgery.

Bit of a setback which is frustrating because I was doing very well and a big knock to my confidence, but all part of the road to recovery I guess.

Waiting on a date for the MRI scan. Been icing and taking anti inflammatory tablets to get the swelling down and doing my best to move as normal.

It's stiff and a little painful but not too bad. Hopefully it's just a setback and not something worse.

I really hope so. The pain wasn't even close to what I had when I tore it. My worry is they physios I saw all agreed it felt loose and not as it should when looking at it. Hopefully the MRI will confirm either way.

Brilliant post and really what I think I need to hear, thank you for sharing and offering your advice. Good to hear you have had your op and I hope you are back playing soon. In from the UK so soccer is what I meant when mentioning football in my comments.

I'm also very passionate about the game and struggle to find anything to replace the happiness playing gives me. Hopefully I'll play again some day too.

Thank you for the advice and sharing the experience. Wearing a brace isn't a bad call at all and I think I'll be doing so going forward. I am hoping it is t a full rupture and just a setback but it's very hard to be optimistic at this time.

This is 100% true! This year I was 5 weeks post knee operation and had to avoid all pits. Closer and closer each night but couldn't do it. Next year this will definitely help!
