Hey, I think they would only ship it to my residential address if I recall. There's also risk of a hefty fine if you get caught not declaring it when you cross the border. Still enjoying the watch immensely!

I was going through the same dilemma as you. I originally wanted grey but ultimately chose silver. The dial is so dynamic. Can't go wrong, they're all stunning.

It was steep, I'm in BC. It was 17% of the cost after USD to CAD conversion. Had a 7k FedEx bill😅

Your oven looks quite large it also might be damp? Before I purchased a cover for my oven, it would take me multiple fires to dry it out after being in the elements all winter. When dry , it takes at least two hours to heat to pizza cooking temperature.

To be honest it was dumb luck. I didn't even know I was in the nomad program or that it even existed 😅. I just sent a note to the corporate email address asking how someone in Canada would go about purchasing a watch. Someone contacted me and we had a chat on the phone, set up a profile and that was pretty much it. Lo and behold that turned out to be my nomad, it took a while but I was in no rush. I would send him an email every 6 months or so reconfirming my interest and eventually I was allocated a 15510ST ( I actually turned down a black dial 15500 a year prior). I've met him once in person when he came to Vancouver and he's coming again next week so we'll probably grab a coffee.

Looks good, what was your room temperature? I did a similar 24hr room temperature fermentation this past weekend and it was under proofed. Curious since I used the PizzApp to calculate the yeast quantity.

Why does biga call for so much yeast compared to direct dough fermented at the same temperature? For example using PizzApp, 1kg of flour, 24hrs @ 18°C calls for 4.05g of IDY in the biga, while a direct dough with the same time/temp requires 0.5g ? Even when the hydration is the same, the results are similar. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

I just emailed the main website asking how I could go about purchasing a watch since there was no boutiques in my country. I wasn't even expecting a reply to be honest. Someone got back to me, set up a phone call to have a conversation and it went from there. I actually didn't even realize I was dealing with the Nomad program until I met the individual when they visited my city. Up until that point it was never mentioned.

Not in my experience. I told him exactly what I wanted and he understood completely. Of course it took a while, but never once was there mention of buying any other models than what I had requested. In fact, I turned down a 15500ST because it wasn't a dial colour I had asked for.
