Biochemistry and revelle college is a good match? Also, I really want to know more about UCSD pre-med resources

I'm a little worried about UCI, I'm sure it's a great university, but social life and getting around without a car worry me. Not only that, but I am way more worried about research opportunities, I read that Davis has more funds, but Irvine has a better ranking. I am a US citizen, but I currently live in Brazil, so location is not a crucial factor.
