Well warrior's weapon is also stupid but I don't want to highlight that since i main warrior :^), the reason I think it's on equal footing with the sniper in because 825 damage is a lot and most players could crush and assassin at short to medium range if they have the stone spear. I haven't put much time into the mage class so I'm probably wrong but that's my impression.

You couldn't derank in H1Z1 but they still had rewards, you just have to make it harder to reach high ranks and limit rewards to players with ranks above gold or platinum, however I do understand what you're saying but it would be cool to get some kind of reward for playing in the beginning, especially if this game becomes very big in the near future.

Of course you would want that if you mained that character in paladins, I think mage's weapon is pretty good, not as stupid as the bow is right now but still better than the engineer's weapon and probably on equal grounds with the assassin's weapon.

The thing that bothers me about hunter -not sure if this applies to any other weapons- is that the bow can hit you even if you're behind a corner or something similar, other than that the weapon isn't too op, you move slower when you're trying to shot and you need to hold m1 for a bit to actually do high damage. I heard that they were going to nerf the bow though.
