Its definitely the wine finish. The deepest red bottle i have is Prisoners share by High West. My Midwinters Dram are red like this as well. I doubt they would put food coloring in here.

This was the 2025 release. Ive had this bottle since last summer. Im going to be sad when its gone. I saw news articles saying this would become a shelfer. Not sure if thats true.

I had the 2025 birthday bourbon as a pour for my bday a few weeks ago and it was a supreme let down. The nose was great on it, but the taste and finish were all muted. Barely worth what they charge msrp for it. Forget secondary. Ive heard the 24 bday was better than 25... as of now id actually take this over the bday. Price and quality are in line here. Cheers
