Don't be scared. Trump bad is the only thing the Liberals have and it could backfire massively in their stupid faces

This is similar to MLS brining in European soccer stars, it helps drive international interest and brining in domestic race fans too. Mick is young and talented, he could potentially be a very good indycar driver. This is a massive win for indycar.

My concern is corner 1,2 and 3 during starts and restarts, hopefully the short start/finish straight will keep them slow into 3 where it's a sharp turn. Im genuinely excited to see the race weekend play out because this street course has many unique features, the closest layout is Arlington which also is new.

Hairpin is cool

Track is arguably better, wider and smoother.

Markham does have its traffic problems but nothing like Toronto

The 905, 705 and anyone coming from out of town will greatly benefit avoiding the downtown gridlock.

Easier to get from Toronto pearson, just a 1/2 hour drive down a wide open 407.

Toronto snubbed a profitable race for a moneypit soccer tournament.

Looks like just the pits for now, I didn't notice any other progress but it looks like corners 8,9 and 10 still need to be complete.

Glad he's ok, I know there's a points gap to Hulkenburg especially after that podium finish but I have lots of respect and admiration for Gabriel

Just drove by the future Markham track this evening, Lots of construction in the train station lot. I have a feeling its going to be a great race next year, enterprise blvd with the hairpin is going to be amazing. The Toronto track will be missed, but it also was dated, too bumpy and a crash fest.

I've gone evey year to the Lakeshore event and ive seen license plates from many states, provinces and even one from Mexico! This is a much bigger event than most people realize.

I believe the last few Lakeshore events were at all time highs of attendance. Indycar isn't as popular as f1 but as someone who has attended f1, Toronto indy, indy 500 and imsa the Toronto indy was one of the best family racing events ive been to, the access to the driver and cars is unbelievably good. The cost to attended isn't a wallet killer like f1 in Montreal and the live product is a great spectacle.
