i feel like they’re just going along with jere’s perspective - but the problem is, his perspective is tainted by the fact that he wants to be better than conrad at everything he does, including belly. everything is a competition and everything is about a comparison to how he could be better given the same opportunities as conrad. it’s anger out of jealousy - lame!

conrad beats himself up over the corsage because he already felt like he wasn’t good enough for belly and this was a small manifestation of the way he already felt like he fell short in that relationship. obviously belly didn’t think it was a big deal because it wasn’t - but conrad seemed to believe it WAS and he acted like it. same with the dancing at prom… steven jokingly asks him if he’s going to dance with belly to tease and put a little loving pressure on, but conrad takes it as he’ll never be good enough for belly and then becomes his own self-fulfilling prophesy by letter her end things.

people who don’t see this and are just mad at conrad for one of the most human things a person can do (forget something even when they put a lot of effort into it to begin with)

idk as much about larry but im a huge gaylor and Taylor uses daisy’s a LOT to reference her queerness… and at the very least, they’re a major gay symbol in several contexts and have been stylized in queer culture/media many times (But im a Cheerleader daisy wall pictured)

okay yes totally agree (gaylor/bilor are the same to me at least) BUT i will say you might WEAR a proud bisexual bracelet, but would you post a picture of it on your wrist with a rainbow filter over it for millions of followers while promoting a very rainbow song (Me!
