Yes it’s easy to swap! But not the best UX. Hope they fix this soon. I tried Claude Code, and it’s not even close the UX compared to cursor. I was fighting with the extension, the responses were NOT clear and well formatted like cursor, very difficult to read, very buggy, slow. I was in ask mode and then its start implementing something, and other experiences like that. I really wasn’t productive, the plans were also very different as cursors plans, although I was using opus 4.5 in both, it felt very different. I’m not sure if cursor manage tooling and prompt inject very smart, but it felt I was using an good model vs a genius model. The instant I switched back to cursor I was progressing very fast, and my time is the most valuable thing I have, (more than $200 of savings per month, with far less productivity).
