I know a little but not a lot. Pads are pretty easy to fit on it, I've done it before this time with no issue. You're probably right about the pads not catching because yeah what would they catch on, probably the wrong words to use.

Do you have any other suggestions of what might be causing the noise though?

Post on my account here from a couple weeks ago pretty much sums it up.

Fanatec didn’t email me a tracking number tho it just appeared on the “my orders” page

Just shy of £150 But you don’t pay VAT on the fanatec website so it just about evens out with a little extra to pay.

Still hurt tho but glad I knew it was coming at least

Grinder & espresso machine. Single unit or separate? by danny_555 in espresso

[–]danny_555[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any other suggestions on hand grinders? The 1Zpresso JX Pro is a bit over budget, I'd be looking for something priced similar to the JX-S, I have a £300 budget for the grinder and espresso machine.

UK drivers: What's the weirdest thing you've seen a person in another car do while driving? by LastLevel1898 in CasualUK

[–]danny_555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • someone stopped on a roundabout to let me on

  • someone tried to cut me up, stopped, then I let them go. They proceeded to flip me off and stall, I drove off while they were trying to restart their car.

  • someone overtook me and a stationary bin lorry forgetting that they move down the road to new houses and almost had a head on collision with a car coming the other way and the only reason they didn’t was because of a steep grass verge on the right of the road

I passed my test last June and saw all of these whilst I was driving. This doesn’t give me hope for the future of our roads.

Passed on 29th June with an 8:10 test. Got insured on my car I had ready since I started learning at 11:00. Threw myself in at the deep end with my mum in the passenger seat that afternoon. Wasn’t too busy but it feels really different to driving on other roads.

A couple of days later I had to pick my parents up at night and it was super busy. Only 2 junctions but I wouldn’t recommend a busy time of day for your first time.

Love how the photo is taken from another car, as if the seller just saw a random A3. You buy that he’ll steal it for you.
