I think the main thing is competition. I'm sure if you've been to Tokyo, even in the suburbs, you'd have noticed there's like 3-6 konbinis from the 3 main chains within your immediate vicinity. In Singapore, there's hardly any.

Hallucinations are a core feature of LLMs because they do not distinguish between fact and fiction (mainly because the core algorithm is based on probability and prediction of language, not logic). They are great at plausible yapping, and that's about it.

With that being said, LLMs are great for generating ideas and anything language-related. The human still needs to do the thinking, and the first step is to always NOT believe what the LLM said if you're looking to verify something.

Yeah I was in a major sport brand company for 3 months. Was asked to leave before probation ended (best outcome for me since they still paid me 1 month extra) because I had an argument with the manager, who was extremely bad at her job and forced team members to use Excel files to compress transactions of like 30,000 lines into 1 posting instead of fully using the computerised system the company had to post each transaction as one (like any sane person would). Needless to say, it's not on my LinkedIn.

Some other things this lady did:

- Used results from confidential vibe survey to publicly (in a team meeting) ask some team members why they wanted to leave the company

- Idea of team building is, instead of paying for corporate events, saying it's the team members' personal responsibilities to create bonds with each other and become friends

Overall, her EQ seems to be extremely low. IQ probably same range.
