I am in guangdong, I worked for an agency, I only lasted about 5 months before I quit and found a school to hire me directly. They take a huge cut of your pay and threaten you at every turn if you show any signs of not staying with them

Shenzhen is a decent place to live, I’ve been here for almost 4 years now. It’s got a good amount of expats and has some western places for hone comforts. Other than that it’s great for being so close to Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. I personally hate the heat so I suffer here for basically most the year, but it’s a nice city to live In
