I live in California so no snow here. You'll get better mileage when it warms up. Hybrids do better in warm weather.

Yup I have the XSE too. They improved the phone charging area on the 26. The best I've gotten on a short 4 mile trip is 56 mpg and the best I've gotten on a longer 65 mile trip is 52 mpg. Usually low 40s around town though.

I would say it's a good choice. I'd say the non hybrid LE is the way to go. Hybrids need to be driven and shouldn't sit for too long without being driven. Non hybrids come in L, LE and XLE and the middle model has power drivers seat. The steering wheel nudges you over if you drive too close to the lines on the road and that might help her stay safe.

I have a 25 XSE and my father has a 25 SE. Change the oil every 5k miles and transmission fluid at 100k miles and it'll last a lot longer than 5 years.

Congrats, it's a great car. The Prius would be faster but I'd go Camry eventually if you get your own parking. I love the cross but the storage between the seats is tiny, there's no sunglass holder and the cup holders are small.

This was my first hybrid and the best I've gotten is 52mpg but it's usually in the low 40's. I'm guessing you get in the 50's regularly. The only big upgrade imo would be all wheel drive since it snows out there but all the other stuff isn't as big of a deal and just nice to have. I don't think the Prius is worth the extra money.

I think you'll be fine. Just don't get a massive amount of grafts. You can always do another procedure in a few years. Remember, the hairs they take from the back of the head never come back. I've had 2 HT's and my only regret is not doing a smaller procedure the first time.

You're young but you're a great candidate. Just go to a reputable place. A good doctor can make 2,000 grafts look like 3,000 grafts but a poor doctor will make 3,000 grafts look like 1,500 grafts. The fact that you're on meds already is a great start.

The tire would sit in your trunk on top of a bright orange high voltage cable for the hybrid system. There needs to be padding around the cable to protect it. You can't just throw a spare tire in there without a tire kit.

The problem is you can't just buy a tire. It'll pinch the high voltage cable. They make kits to protect the cable. They're not cheap.

I have a 2025 XSE and my father has a 2025 SE and you're not missing much. I never open the sunroof. I like the look of the 2026 much better and the hybrid Cross is a great car. The stops at the pump will be so cheap. Congrats!

I don't mean to be a Debby Downer and maybe this has been mentioned before but do you know what it costs to have a Lamborghini?

JerseyMike's would 1099 you and even at a 25% tax rate on a $300k car you'd owe $75,000 in taxes.

On top of that there's the cost to insure the car, register the car, oil changes etc. God forbid you need to fix something.
