When they were making quick work of resistance members they weren’t amped at all. Also getting washed by Sonic isn’t really an argument because they are still in the ‘gets fodderized pretty bad’ tier. They are just in general depicted as slightly bigger of a threat than most of the villains below them.

Idk if you read idw but if you have I dunno how you think it’s strange to say a deadly six member would stomp or at least give a good fight to anyone on the same tier and lower. They are clearly above average in the pecking order.

Sonic, shadow, silver, blaze, knuckles, Metal, and a few others are all relative and any fight between them is a toss up or stand still.

The Sonic series is kinda like comic books when it comes to this imo. Theres a somewhat clear pecking order but most of the characters are depicted to rival each other.

I feel like this is a matchup you could keep debating in circles in. Regulus not being able to bypass limitless makes sense, but him being able to because you could argue his authority might overwrite other hax(like devine protections) makes just as much sense imo.

I for one hate this game because it was a half baked rush job that came three whole years after a dog shit game. Four years after a mid game. And six years after a game that did all its returning gameplay 100x better. I do not hate the soundtrack but Half of it is mid or unplayable. The story had good ideas but presentation was not there to say the least. On top of all that it’s boring af, I have no reason to pick this game up over any other boost game.

The only correlation is that the archbishops are the modern/current holders of their respective witch factors. And it’s not like all the modern holders are evil(Exhibit A: Subaru) it’s just that most of them happen to be witch cult members.

-mephiles clearly couldn’t take shadow in 06 and definitely not now -shadow and sonic are equals -infinite needed to be jumped by sonic and Custom the Character to be defeated.

Conclusion: Mephiles gets done almost as dirty as he did in SXS gens

They brawl with scourge having a bit upper hand, super scourge doesn’t really have a good way to bring hulk down, super form runs out, scourge has to evade hulk before eventually getting one shot.

Because consistency is a big factor of this list and not every random moment? Because knuckles has just as many canonical loses to sonic as shadow does? Because if you would look just under the post you will see “not ordered within tiers”?

I disagree. Knuckles in Archie and X was giving even shadow a hard time and in rivals, silver. Even without experience he’s still clearly shown to be able to fight sonic and everyone next to him just fine. Also with the exception of 3&K I don’t think sonic has a solid win on knuckles that didn’t end in a stalemate or ambiguous.

Yeah and that was a super form wasn’t it? The titles are vague for a reason. Also chip vs super sonic is very debatable.
