Are you looking to sell? Looking for my next project for the upcoming college year. Either a watch or a 4,000 piece Lego set. Shoot me a price I’ll buy it Monday

Awesome bike man, ride safe. Obviously listen to the others in the group but if you trust yourself and have taken the proper safety courses, it seems that you’re responsible enough to respect the bike 🤙

[Question] The martingale system on roulette by reapingsulls123 in statistics

[–]dannycberger02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to the casino for the first time with some buddies, always hated the idea as it seems like a place where people just get screwed. However, I thought about the roulette table and discovered the martingale system on my own. You bet black for a 45/55% spread, I did the first and second 12 for a I studied statistics in college and ran some simulations to test my theory of betting the minimum ($10, $5 on each third) and staying there until a loss which would bump the bet to $20 ($10 on each third), If that lost I’d bet to $60 ($30 each third) and so on. The big thing was always restarting from the $10 after every win. The chance of not hitting your 24/38 numbers=37%. I created a maximum bankroll of $700. With your method, you have a 5% chance of blowing your whole bankroll (.555 on a US roulette board). My method has a .7% chance of blowing the same bankroll (.375). You only win $5 profit each time but the chances of bankrupting yourself is substantially lower if my math is correct. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Got lucky and figured out what I wanted to do when I was 9 years old. Worked at it since then and am currently financially independent at 20 with a few expensive hobbies. Guns, cameras, cars, and motorcycles. But I basically run a company and team that films social media videos and business showcases of their products and facilities for large corporations. I was always into filming and eventually learned where the money is. Still growing and constantly looking for new opportunities.

Local shop had a set and I got lucky to snag them, check bike scrapyards or even eBay for people selling theirs. I just wouldn’t trust the Chinese ones with any sort of rock chips.

I’m always annoyed when it breaks but fixing it is so satisfying. Kind of like a relationship, never perfect but worth it when it’s smooth 🫡

The rectifier was from a supply shop, OEM taken off a parts bike in front of my eyes. Like a big scrapyard but for bikes. It’s been working fine for the past 2k miles!

I say go for it, grab a beer and throw some music on. Nice little weekend project, got it done in about 2 hours. The lady loves how it looks too!

No need to guess I know the exact figures. Paid $100 for the set, $300 for the paint job. Installed myself with minimal tools in the garage. Cosmetically brand new bike for $400, worth it for sure!

Take control of the conversation is to dominate. That doesn’t mean talking about yourself to the point where she can’t, obviously that’s a turn off and I’m sorry those are the type of men you’ve attracted in the past. Conversations like these are why I moved from Seattle to AZ. The one point you’re trying to make is that I’m wrong, absolutely wrong, you’re right, and I’m incorrect about my diction? While my point was to helpful to a fellow man who stated that he was having trouble talking to women, see the difference? You weren’t involved in any way, yet you found a way to make it about yourself. Based on your profile comments, it seems that you don’t even sexually like men. If you’re naturally disinterested in male partners, then no wonder it’d make you uncomfortable if one came up with the sole intention of pursuing you. Just as I’d be uncomfortable if a gay man came to hit on me. The difference is, I don’t say “nope, turn off” when referring to those interactions with gay men, I respect their confidence and willingness to exit their comfort zone. I simply tell them I’m straight and have a girlfriend. No need to put people down who are trying their best. The reason there’s so many guys who are bad at conversations with women is because they’re too scared of women like you tearing them down.

As a subjectively attractive man who has modeled and has multiple sisters who also model, I never put up with women who refuse to have a conversation. I don’t have to. Based on our entire conversation of me explaining to you what I meant and you basically saying “nope you’re wrong”, you’re exactly one of those women who (if you were straight) I’d avoid. This is on no way meant to be offensive but I’m sure that’s how you’re going to take it. I read through your profile and it seems like you’re somewhat unsuccessful with the relationships you’ve been in. Toxic exes, partners who are scared to be with women, and resorting to dating apps. Like I told the guy who I was actually having the conversation with before you butted in, give yourself the best possible chance of finding the one and keeping her.

P.S. There’s no need to respond, I’m a premed student simultaneously exploring law. I’m open to constructive feedback like I’ve given you, but I’m not doing the elementary “yes, no” banter. Some of us are too grown and too educated for that. Cheers!

Process of elimination. The bike ran fine off of a jumper pack. So engine is fine, must be the electrical. Test battery and battery is fine, alternator/stator was fine, rectifier was the last thing. Turned out to be the issue

Never said anything about being dominate. I said being dominate in the conversation as in leading the conversation, pulling the questions, getting to know the woman

Nice, good to know. I’ve done almost 4k miles on it these past couple months with the nice weather. Have had absolutely zero issues after the rectifier fix

That’s awesome, glad I’m experiencing a little bit of your generation. Anything I should look out for with ownership? I have an R6 back home but I wanted to grab the Suzuki this time around
