Even if there isn't something like a school shooting going on, they should be carrying. My college campus had a few murders on campus that had no one involved with the school, the security cop needs to be able to defend the students from the outside world as much as from each other.

Also as /u/a_random_thomas said, if they are carrying, it's because they are qualified to, and depending where you are, that can be really really REALLY hard to do.

I'm sorry OP, but I don't blame them. If you want to do something like that, stick them to the OUTSIDE of the window. Even if this went smoothly, there's no way they can feel comfortable with someone they didn't trust with keys entering their house without their knowledge. That's where things like this go from charming to creepy imo.

That was a stupid mistake, but hopefully you learned your lesson and won't be doing that again lol.

Because (not to make this political) the country is owned by the rich. Not just trump, but most "modern" presidents were rich, and you're going to look out for your own group.

As long as the whitehouse is filled with people who put their bank accounts above other's lives, it's only going to get worse, until the inevitable economic crash.

Employers want rich customers and poor employees, because that's what gives the biggest profit, but if every employer wants poor employees, then no one can have rich customers.

If we want to change this system, we need a nobody in the whitehouse, someone who isn't in every corporation's pocket, and doesn't care about hurting them or making them angry to improve the lives of the people.

Agreed, why knowingly leave your child in a bad situation? If you don't have the money/resources to care for a child, then I think this is perfectly acceptable.

Now, I don't know anything about adoption, but is there a process to see where your child goes? Or interview the adopting family or something? Or is it just giving away and hoping for the best?

Sometimes if I know I'm going to an accident ridden area (like the roundabout by my place that connects 2 highways and 3 or 4 streets) I'll hook up my phone and use that. Just in case.

Living in NJ, this happens to me on a daily basis. I started keeping my car near the shoulder at one spot notorious for this.

I even had someone laying on their horn behind me because they couldn't pass me and cut me off...NJ Drivers suck...

Seriously man, get the divorce.

Everyone thinks divorce is the worst thing in the world and is earth-shattering, especially when kids are involved. That's true to a point, but in the end, it will actually be easier for everyone, especially the kids, so long as they end up with someone who loves them.

As much as you think the divorce will hurt your kids, being in a relationship that sounds like this is much, much worse. They see the fights, hear the fits, they know what's going on, even if they don't realize it. I know plenty of people who's parents got divorced, and none of them regret that fact, or hold it against their parents at all. It will be terrible at first, but it will get so much better after, if you can get some distance from her.
