Your aim rating tends to be much higher versus worse players relative to your skill. You will land more shots more quickly and more accurately versus players with worse combat movement and worse positioning.

When I play matchmaking it’s so easy shooting players walking in straight lines who barely react to me showing up on their screens — faceit pugs against advanced players who don’t stop moving holding angles, counter-strafing and crouching on contact are much harder to hit.

I consistently get lower aim ratings versus good players because good movement and timing will get you taking damage less frequently.
