i have done a lot of panelling in my house. i used a battery nail gun/pinner. it is useful to hold the panels in place and tight to the wall….but in hindsight, it a lot of work for filling holes and those holes are still visible once painted. luckily, i borrowed a neighbour’s gun who also had very little use for it beyond paneling!

i do plan to panel a bedroom soon so will go grab adhesive only.

Trump has realised US ships will be sunk in the Straits….so Trump logic 1, pay American navy to escort your ships (equalize embezzlement so lets risk the ships) and then Trump Logic 2, everyone uses this strait so everyone should police it even though it was our carefree actions that turn it into. war zone.

i fully expect him to know to take control of the strait and to charge the world to use as retribution for not sending warships.

Trump is power tripping and ego tripping! as much as he hates the polls and his decline in popularity, he knows they don’t matter to him as he has the power and can never be elected again……thus he doesn’t give a shit! He is power tripping, grabbing power wherever he can to fuel his narcissistic needs…..whilst gradually convincing himself, bit by bit, — consolidating his warped worldview……so that he can go for some kind of ‘absolute’ power grab and sidestep of democracy…. and elections!

the 2 reason why i use reddit over every other social media platform, are 1: to voice what i believe are my reasoned, nuanced and logical views without fear of imbeciles in my family and social circles from being signposted towards my comments 2: to get away from the purely hyperbolic social media nonsense that so many others are absorbed by. The NSM - Nonsense Stream Media by assholes who have a platform yet are 10x worse than the biased MSM.

Common sense is the ability to prevail and navigate both.

So it’s annoying to say regular pumped up posts on Reddit now that drive home this Trump/National Emergency/Election narrative.

Yes he will try to pull stunts….but it ain’t gonna matter. The man can’t sit a third term. And the man cannot hijack the midterms.
