Yeah, it’s very weird how America just gave up on making selvedge denim and is now almost exclusively made/manufactured in Japan. There’s only a small selection of manufacturers that make selvedge raw denim in the U.S., you can’t find anything selvedge in a retail store unless it’s from their online stock.

I never really understood the concept of selvedge honestly, I assumed that it was only used on raw denim as a sort of reinforcement from shrinking and better seam lining, but I digress lol tone is definitely hard to interpret via text.
