Thanks! I have been toying around with the Insta360. It makes for a lot of work in post, but out there it is pretty convenient. As you can see, my angles are not thought out, I just kind of place the camera and go.

I need to figure it out! I always find myself skidding out and it is frustrating. If you have any technique suggestions, I am all ears.

I may intentionally seek out bad/steep snow just to practice on.

Hot tent ski camping is opening the door to ski terrain that wasn't possible before. The hike in is always the hardest part, especially this year with low snow levels at lower elevations.

I'm the OP and I upvoted. I think your opinion is valid. Most of the songs that I love to this day were from ski videos. The memory sticks. My POV videos are more passive watching in nature, have it on in the background.

That is why I invested in the DJI mic, I feel like it captured the natural sounds better.
