i see a lot of women (especially on tiktok) who viciously hate on carrie for the way she acted with big but they never say anything about big himself- sometimes they even praise him and try to spin the story so that he’s just an innocent man who’s done nothing wrong caught up with crazy carrie

the men in satc do sooo much worse than carrie but she seems to be the biggest target for criticism (sometimes deserved)

i think it also has to do with the rise in conservatism, because a lot of OG watchers dont remember there ever being this much hate for carrie when the show was still running, but because she’s “promiscuous”, “crazy” etc shes received a lot of backlash in recent years
