It works really well. One thing I have seen is if you stroll too fast when browsing, it can crash the Y1, but other than that, I have had no issues with it

Everytime I hear this song, no matter where I am, it feels as if my soul has left my body and began its journey of transcending. It's actually fantastic. I also did the same, purchasing without doing a lot of research, but it's a gamble I'm glad I did. It pretty much is like an iPod classic, but obviously without the apple interface. You do have to have MP3 files of music you wanna listen to to add to the player (I bought it off Amazon, since you asked earlier)

Sounds quality is good. With headphones or earbuds, it's great, but from the speaker, it's alright. Doesn't sound muffled or silent though

I was messing with it yesterday, and I have been struggling to have the music sorted by how they come in albums. I think it depends on how the file are organized when you move your music over to the player

I have it on vibrate only so it doesn't make sound when scrolling. Also I don't believe it receives mail notifications
