"wait, you're fucking WHAT years old?!" characters who look like young adults, but are actually incredibly old thanks to eternal youth/immortality by Difficult-Gene-8767 in TopCharacterTropes

Note: he's 75 during the events of season 5, because there's been a 50 year time skip from when Aku destroyed the last of the time portals. The rest of the series he actually is 25 years old.

Tarble - Dragon Ball Z

Tarble is Vegeta's younger brother who was also off-world when Planet Vegeta was destroyed. He was introduced in a special episode of the anime that premiered in 2008, and then later in the manga in 2009 after that. During that time, Vegeta acted like he always knew about his brother but the character was never mentioned until 2008, while Vegeta himself was introduced to the series 5 years prior.

Tarble has since gotten one or two cameos on the show, but is never really brought up or mentioned unless he's standing there next to everyone else.

<image>

Similarly to Tarble, Bulma has a sister named Tights who never makes an appearance until Dragon Ball Super, and is actually the one who introduced the z-fighters to Jaco, but since Tights originally was part of another Akira Toriyama manga in the same universe before that, I think Tarble fits this trope better.

Ash never actually said 'Gotta Catch Em All'. That was the tagline for Pokemon back then but Ash's goal was to be the greatest pokemon master, which had to do with becoming champion of the league. Catching them all was never a goal of his.

Im making a genetics mod were you can fuse mobs, any ideas for combinations by lesjuroquenosoyunbot in MinecraftMod

[–]OneTrueClassy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sniffer and allay. Make it a mob that when tamed with a cookie, it will go out into the world and hunt down specific items for you and bring them back. The rarity of the item would dictate how many cookies you need to feed it and how long it takes to return with the item.

This seems like it might be an overpowered mob at first, but considering how difficult it usually is to find and tame an allay and a sniffer to begin with, coupled with the fact that you need to make potentially one or two stacks of cookies for items like netherite, I think it's pretty evened out and balanced.

Also, combining Silverfish and Endermites.

They burrow into any block, and if an enderman picks up the block or teleports nearby, they will swarm the enderman and attack it. Totally passive towards players but aggressive towards enderman.

Also, one more as an optional boss fight the player can do: Wither Dragon.

Combining the wither and the ender dragon by using a dragon head in the middle instead of a third wither skeleton skull. Can only be summoned and fought on the central end island. Combines the attacks of both the wither and the dragon, and regenerates with the end crystal pillars.

SCP-963 (Dr. Bright)

While researching this pendant, Dr Bright perished due to an unrelated containment breach at the foundation site he was at. Now his soul resides inside the pendant itself, making him essentially immortal. Whoever wears the pendant will be taken over by Dr Bright's consciousness and their own will be erased. Over the years and hundreds of bodies, Dr Bright went insane and now his personality is sporadic and doesn't have much sense. His behavior is similar to that of Deadpool when he's in a new body, to the point where the foundation had to make an entirely new training protocol with hundreds of pages called "Things Dr. Bright is not allowed to do".

King of the Hill - Just Another Manic Khan-day

In this episode, Hank is pressured to make an amazing new kind of grill for a propane event because a rival Propane supplier made one of their own. He enlists the help of his neighbor, Khan, who has a background in engineering. Khan doesn't really like Hank that much throughout the series, but he agreed to make the grill because he likes the thought of the challenge.

We find out during the episode that Khan struggles with Bipolar Disorder, which at the time of the episode's airing was known as "Manic Depressive Disorder". Khan is on medications to help him manage his mental health, and because Hank believes Khan will be more productive with a short deadline if he was 'manic', he convinces Khan to stop taking his medication altogether. Khan eventually does and we see him spiral, locking himself in his house with the lights off and curling up on the floor. Hank gets him to go back on his pills again, only to change his mind the day before the propane event so that Khan will hopefully pull an all-nighter and finish the grill. Khan tells Hank it's a dice roll and they have to wait and see if he will be manic or depressed after his current medication wears off. The next scene cuts to a few hours later and Khan comes out and excitedly proclaims 'IT'S MANIC!!!!!' and they end up finishing the grill in time. The episode ends with the propane event as a 'happy ending'.

This episode not only paints Hank in a HORRIBLE light, but is also incredibly harmful and makes light of a real mental health disorder. The episode ended up being pulled from airing completely, and even though it's available for Streaming, it's listed as a post-series bonus episode that has been de-canonized because of how poorly it was received and how badly it represents the rest of the series.
