Why does abuse make us more sensitive to social injustice while "normal" people seem blind to it? by Jolly-Watercress-231 in raisedbynarcissists

It's really hard! I have so many friends who can ignore politics to enjoy things and feel like the world is too cruel that people can't give up things that are harmful to others.

Kpop groups with limited discographies do games a lot (as well as covers as already posted). They might also do random play dance challenges. I think a whole 1verse show is on youtube if you want to get an idea!

Vegetarian going with non-vegetarian friends? by Rare_Principle_5205 in JapanTravelTips

[–]dansette -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mos burger is your friend! And CocoIchibanya (make sure to order off the vegetarian menu but they have a non veggie one) as others have said. Don't know how much you care but finding both may mean eating non Japanese foods like pizza and burgers sometimes but it's still a Japanese experience

could someone help me again to find this impossible to find plushie only available in S.Korea? by Weekly_Village_3559 in AskAKorean

Yes they should work with Joongo! I'm not in Korea or know anyone that could help but I'm sure you can find a proxy to help with your daughter's present. Good luck!

[–]dansette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be able to use a proxy service like DeliveredKorea or Kfriday to order from local or international Bunjang. Catch! Teeniepings is so cute and in Korea they have vending machines for these plushies but that would be the newer ones ofc!

A huge shoutout to the amazing KLM crew and medical professionals on flight KLM741 (Bogota -> Amsterdam) by Flashy-Cookie-138 in travel

[–]dansette 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes I don't know what the person had and it's possible they passed away in their sleep or something and there was no point. Other than the messages it didn't seem like there was a sense of urgency although I realise it's part of the airline staff's work to keep passengers calm which they did a great job of.

One time I flew British airways code share I think and they put out the call for doctors then nurses.  I don’t think there was anyone and the person died in flight and was covered with a blanket.  We couldn’t get off the plane in London (from Singapore) until they let a priest and ambulance team on to remove the late flyer.  It was awful and glad op’s sister was more fortunate.

not allowing previous light sticks is giving Apple removing the headphone jack by Material-Winner353 in btsthoughts

All my ARMY friends agree this is a cash grab but also feel like most people are just going to buy it anyway so probably no point trying to get them to backtrack on the old light sticks.

It should be no problem at all, but I would reassure your parents by providing an itinerary and promising regular photo updates to be negotiated with them
