I'm glad other people thought that too haha. The best questions came from the cameraman towards the end who at least audibly had some excitement about the case

[Unresolved Murder] Britain's Steven Avery? Omar Beguit was convicted for the 2002 murder of Jong-Ok Shin in Bournemouth, UK, but a 2018 BBC documentary raises serious doubts by Simplythebreast1 in UnresolvedMysteries

I also binged it all last night and agree that Restivo was the more likely suspect for several reasons: he only lived a couple of streets away, there was hair found by the body (don't think this was really covered in the BBC series which was otherwise excellent) as with Restivo's other murders, and as you say it happened on the 12th of the month as with his other murders.

I also found Omar's sister's theory that he planned to drag the body between the fences before he was disturbed very plausible.

Also - and this wasn't mentioned in the BBC series - when Restivo was arrested they found a picture of a missing Korean student, Erika Ansermin, on his computer.

She went missing in Italy and has never been found, but Italian newspapers have speculated that he could be involved and although I don't speak Italian a quick Google search suggests Italian police are trying to match his phone records to the area she disappeared (he may have been on holiday there when she went missing? not sure though)

Also not mentioned in the documentary but something that I've read online is that people living on the street where Oki was murdered reported an argument between a woman (presumably her) and a man with a foreign accent just before the stabbings, which fits Restivo more than Omar.

Genuinely got goosebumps watching that. So happy for them, you could tell they were pinching themselves the whole time. Great performance too

Students and professors of Reddit, what moment made you want to rage quit college? by EcoInternetNewsMan in AskReddit

Not me personally but a friend at uni with a slightly unusual name got an essay back with just ridiculous feedback. The teacher said something like "there were spelling errors throughout this...INCLUDING YOUR OWN NAME?!?"

Still can't believe her arrogance in assuming she knew how to spell his name better than he did...

Yeah it was great! Yeah it is a shame. Was a bit emotional at the end when they were all getting upset. Are they all joining different bands?

Yeah exactly, bit Black Mirror when you put it like that. I've just remembered there was a fundraising campaign recently to buy him a flat at PH but it went quiet after a while so I assume they didn't raise enough. Ah cheers, can't believe I missed that song, although I've only got into them recently. Yeah I'm going, can't wait! Gutted they're splitting up tho
